The dogs available for foster are evaluated for temperament prior to being pulled. Although the dog’s background is generally unknown we have done our best to assure a well-tempered dog. All dogs will be given their vaccinations, and unless very young, will be spayed or neutered. Although, we cannot guarantee that there are no health or behavior problems with the dogs we rescue, we have done our very best to assure that each dog in the program is a good candidate for permanent placement through adoption. As a foster parent/home you would be responsible for not only the safety and daily care of the rescued dog, but also the socialization and rehabilitation of trust and basic house manners to ensure the dog has the best opportunity of becoming a member of a new adoptive home.
The following application is very important to helping us make the right match between dog and new “ foster parent”. We, therefore, reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to turn down an application. By submitting this application whether by mail, in person or via the Internet, you are giving us permission to check the references listed and demonstrating your sincere interest in pursing the fostering of a dog from our rescue program.
