Will you be one of our Guardian Angels?

MADISON

Madison came to us after being found stray and in animal control gentle and sad, with a cherry eye and a hurt leg; content to lay at your feet. But a few months of healing has done wonders. She’ll still lay at your feet, but if you let her run, she’ll run all day, and she wants to play, and play, and play some more. Madison is @ 3 years old and is wonderful with the toddlers in her foster home. She’d love to have a family of her own to play with.

GRACIE

The only thing that could have saved Gracie from almost certain death was the fact that she was dumped at a shelter WITH her new born puppies.  She was so thin, so very thin, and the puppies were draining her of all nutrients.  Once her puppies were weaned and placed in wonderful homes, Gracie was spayed and treated for heartworms.  Gracie is a very sweet adult black horsecoat shar-pei of medium size.
Metamorphophis is another word for amazing, and that is Gracie.   She has gained weight, her coat is glossy and beautiful. and she is a very happy girl.   She's sworn off male dogs,  and those sweet talkers are how she got into this mess anyway.  Gracie would like to be a spoiled lady of leisure and the only dog in the household.
As with most dogs, she thinks of cats and small dogs as great sport.  She is a hunter by nature, and excels at predator control.  Gracie does confess to that one small eccentricity but it is her nature as are most shar-pei.
Gracie's wish list includes:
1. A family to LOVE ME and care for me
2. Nice big fenced back yard with lots of shade
3. A really comfortable doggie bed of my own
4. Good quality food every day and doggie treats too
5. Please get me lots of toys to play with Gracie loves everyone, she's friendly and sweet, you will just love her!

MIKE

Mike is an @ 2 yr old cream horsecoat male.  He is a young dog far wiser than his years.  He has impeccable manners and the most soulful eyes.  He is quiet, gentle and gets along well with other dogs but is also just as content to be one on one with our volunteers.  Mike was found stray but was undoubtedly someone’s beloved best buddy.  We have discovered he has had some obedience training and follows several commands.  We don’t know how Mike found himself alone on the streets but we do know he misses having a family of his own.  He is so appreciative of the love and care he is given by our NASPR volunteers but we are no substitute for his very own family.  If you are ready to open your home and your heart, Mike will fill it with all the love you could ever hope for.
