SHERA

Shera came to NASPR after being rescued from her life of neglect by the nice folks from Animal Cops Houston (Houston SPCA). She came to us very thin, and her dew claw on her right front leg had grown into her leg requiring surgical removal. She has put on weight, and her body has healed. Now she's working on her soul healing. She was a little shy in the beginning, but she has quickly learned that people are good, and are worth having around. She's a beautiful, petite girl that gets along with the dogs at the shelter once introduced properly. She especially seems to like the tall handsome boys. She has learned to use the doggie door with little effort. She's smart, and a quick learner. She's young, but past the puppy "over playful" stage. She's never shown any aggression when handled, and seems to enjoy human contact, which she was obviously deprived of in her previous life. Do you have time and love to give to Shera? She deserves to be a part of a family that loves and cares for her, and will never neglect her.
