JESSIE

I just love that my name is Jessie.  The first Jessie that comes to my mind is Jessie Coulter the really beautiful country music star that was married to Waylon Jennings.  I can’t sing but I am just as beautiful as the other Jessie.  When the NASPR volunteer picked me up, they were so worried that I didn’t have any hair.  At first it was thought that I was a blue Shar-Pei but now with loving care, good food, and frequent baths, my hair is coming in so beautifully and I am a little black Shar-Pei.  I don’t know how I ended up in Rescue but I am so glad I did.  My family must not have loved me as much as I loved them but I do forgive them because now I know just how much I am loved by the NASPR volunteers.  I do so want a home again and maybe you will take one look at me and think that I am the little girl for you.  I am undergoing heartworm treatment because my family forgot to give me heartworm preventative each month but soon I will be healthy and happy and ready for my new home.

DIRK

MOLLEY

Molly was found in April 2011 at the exit of the 610 Freeway and Irvington in Greater Northside, Houston. She was walking in the middle of traffic when a caring person stopped to help her. The first thing Molly did was offer her paw to her rescuer.  She was not in the best of shape but is recovering nicely, her hair is coming back in and will be a beauty queen in no time.  She is undergoing heartworm treatment and will soon be ready for her forever home.  She does well in her foster home with the other dogs and acts like a real lady.  She is crate trained, house trained and knows how to use the dog door.  She is 57 pounds of pure love and happiness.  Molly has been going to work with her foster dad and loves just sleeping behind his desk.  Molly wants to thank everyone that rescued her from the streets.

TOLEDO

Hi, my name is Toledo. I am a handsome, sweet @ 3-4 yr old SharPei boy. I am looking for a forever home.  I used to have one, but my person couldn't take care of me, and gave me to the shelter. Then the nice people at NASPR came and saved me. I am still a little skinny, but with the good food and care I am getting, I will be even more handsome soon. I love people and want very much to be someone's beloved companion again. If you want a loyal dog who will be your friend, playmate, and love you forever, ask for me, Toledo.

MR. WRINKLES

Hi, I'm Mister Wrinkles, and I got my awesome name because I have a wrinkled face and super cute ears. My foster mom says that I am "velvety" soft!  I am a big lovable guy who enjoys hugs and rubs.  I am crate trained and house trained.  My foster mom says that I am an easy dog to have in the house.  I am experiencing lots of new things at my foster home...like the sofa...I was not quite sure what to do with the sofa at first, but now I have it figured out....comfy!  Playing at the dog park was new to me, but now it is great fun.  I love playing with toys. I have been neutered and vaccinated.  I think I am 2 or 3 years old, reddish-brown in color, with a brush-coat.  I walk pretty well on a SPORN halter.  I get along well with other dogs but cats and other small furry creatures should not exist in the world. I am settled in at my foster home, but I would really like to have my fur-ever home. If you are interested in a handsome, very affectionate (and don't forget velvety soft with a wrinkled face) guy, please fill out an application and ask for Mister Wrinkles!
