ALEX

Hi my name is Alex. I would love to be a forever member of your family.
Alex is a black bone mouth Shar-pei who is very loving and loyal. Once he
becomes a member of your family and becomes attached to you, he will be on alert
for any danger towards you. He is dog friendly, doesn't seem to be interested
in his foster families cat, in fact he won't even come near her!! Alex use to
live on a farm and maybe had a run in with a barn cat which perhaps has made him
wary of them. Alex loves to play with big stuffed toys and has his own version
of fetch/keep away he likes to play. he enjoys chewing and carrying around a
rawhide. Alex gives kisses and loves attention but is not much into getting up
on a couch and laying by you. He will lay nearby on the floor. Alex is use to
a lot of hustle being in a home with 4 other dogs. He is crate and doggy door
trained. He is current on all shots and heartworm free. Alex would make a
wonderful companion for any type of home whether you have a large family, lots
of dogs, no dogs or just yourself, he is easy going and will adapt easily to
your home.
IRIS

Iris is such a sweet girl. She LOVES to cuddle and craves human
contact. She loves to play in water and would have a lot of fun romping around
in a kiddie pool. She is very protective of her people when other dogs are
around so we feel Iris would do best in a single dog home. Are there any
families out there looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful, loyal, guard dog? If
you are, Iris has been waiting for YOU!
Iris is so eager to
please, obedience classes have been donated for Iris and her forever
family!!!!!!!
NANOOK

Nanook has blossomed into one great dog since joining us at NASPR. He
has learned to trust people, and enjoys full body scratches on a regular basis.
He has learned that baths aren't THAT terrible. He walks well on a lead, uses a
doggie door, and is potty trained. Nanook has learned how to sit for food and
treats. He has also come a long way when it comes to taking treats given to him
by hand. He's learned the command "easy," and we at NASPR are no longer in
danger of losing any fingers when feeding him treats. He was a hit with
everyone he met on a recent shopping trip to the pet food store. He has become
one of the NASPR shelter favorites.
