HERSHEY
At 41 lbs., Hershey is a small framed, spry Shar-Pei who enjoys the company of
other canines, but prefers that they be the easy going type. His favorite toy
is his chew bone, but he will gladly trade it for being petted and scratched
under the chin by his person. If you are looking for a
lifetime supply of Hershey kisses – fill out your application now. At
approximately (2) + years Hershey is guaranteed to keep you in an endless
supply.

Who doesn’t love Hershey kisses…without the calories? Originally found
running loose by animal control, Hershey was emaciated, HW (+), unneutered
and in much need of some TLC. NASPR made sure Hershey got just that. His
foster mom has lavished him in TLC and the vets have returned him to a
healthy Shar-Pei (current on vaccines, neutered, HW free) and ready to go.
GEORGE
My name is George and I have turned into a
new dog since I came to NASPR. I was picked up at Animal Control and had a few
serious problems. I was heartworm positive and didn't feel well. It took a
while, but we found out my thyroid wasn't working properly. I had heartworm
treatment, was neutered, vaccinated, and began treatment for my low thyroid. My
skin looks good now and I have almost doubled my weight. I am a good looking
boy and weight about 70 pounds. Now all I need is a special forever home where
I can continue to thrive.
JUSTIN
Just
in time. That’s what it was as Justin’s stray hold time was up at animal
control & no one had come for him. He was out of time and NASPR had no room.
Thankfully, our wonderful NASPR volunteers gave yet a little more of themselves
and we were able to make a spot for Justin…..Just’in time. He’s a happy boy and
is so eager to please. No one will ever be able to tell me he doesn’t
understand how close he was to Rainbow Bridge. Justin’s approximately 3 yrs
old, healthy and ready to go. Would you please consider giving him a forever
home and helping make room for another with NASPR? He knows there are others
out there just like him desperately needing rescue and is hoping we can save
them too…..just in time.
