MANDY

Mandy was owner surrendered to animal control by her owner who said he was not able to give her the care she needed.  The shelter called NASPR for help knowing Mandy would not make their adoption program in her current condition.  Mandy’s skin and coat were in poor condition due to improper nutrition and she was terribly thin.  Mandy is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms and her coat and skin are improving daily living in a clean environment and being fed daily healthy meals.  For whatever reason, Mandy might not have received proper care, but she was obviously at one time a beloved pet.  She has never met a stranger and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail.  Mandy also gets along well with her fellow 4 legged rescue friends.  Mandy is looking for a family that will love her and give her the care she deserves.  With the most wonderful disposition in spite of her difficult life before coming into NASPR’s care, we can only imagine the love she will have for some very lucky forever family.  They just don’t come much sweeter than Mandy.
