Hi! I'm Daisey and "You Can't Keep a Good Dog Down" is my theme song! I was rescued from a kill shelter only to be attacked a week later by a pretty vicious pup who was hanging out in the street with no leash. My wounds have healed and now I’m hoping soon my heart can heal by finding a family of my own.
Being an older dog of @ nine, I am rather lazy but I love to go outside for walks (my foster mom says the exercise is good for both of us). Being a mature girl has its advantages for a family. I am house trained and I won’t chew on anything I’m not supposed to. I get along great with human strangers and eagerly welcome their pets and ear rubs. I do get along ok with others dogs if introduced properly but I do sometimes growl and put on a show for them so they know I might be a senior but I’m still in charge.
